Thrilled to release another standout from our fresh crop Kenyans – this time, Gatomboya in Espresso format! Which is the reason we originally purchased this coffee. Rich, unctuous and heavily fruited and perfect for Christmas!
Produced by the Barichu Cooperative in Nyeri, the Gatomboya factory pulls together cherry from around 950 smallholder farmers nestled between Mt. Kenya and the Aberdare range in Nyeri Country. Expect tons of toffee and caramel, with jammy blackberry and stewed blueberry layered over juicy sherbet-like acidity.
