Communal washing stations are the way in Ethiopia and they can serve several hundred to sometimes a thousand or more producers, delivering cherry throughout the harvest season. The blending of these cherries into day lots makes it virtually impossible under normal
circumstances to know precisely whose coffee winds up in which bags on what day, however thanks to established relationships with washing stations and producers, we know for a fact that the quality is always on point.
