Burundi is back and we are keen! It has been a few years between coffees from this origin, sadly due to logistics and political climate sourcing microlots here (and getting them out of the country) can be quite difficult: It’s a landlocked country, one of the poorest in the world, and still burdened by a history of political unrest thanks to a brutal colonial history and the aftershocks that will, like any colonial history, be felt for generations to come.

We are humbled by every cup we are lucky enough to enjoy and we are very proud to have them in our offering. This year Burundi is bringing fruity sweet vibes, clean, with delicious tangy acidity and a smooth mellow sweetness that keeps on giving. Welcome back! We missed you.
